It’s endearing how comfortable this scene makes me feel. The contraposition between the elements of the painting and the colors are very inviting. I would like to join them in this neon-goth hangout.

Shedding your past selves In the context of the art work: the triptych of love The theme of this stage appears to be one of reclaiming yourself. Out with the old, dead weight selves and in with new journey of defining the next self. The old selves stick around, with varying levels of access to you. Some are more proximal, others more distal. You have the choice to let go of all your selves, like the stream of water under the bridge. You are now faced with the choice of keeping one of your dead selves close or taking a chance on a new beginning t. To your right stands a house, packed with mystery, ready to be filled with book long stories, memories, loud laughter, stormy nights and cozy nights in. Do you take the chance?

I love the intensity of the color palette, its vibrant, yet, makes me feel like something is off, making me want to turn my head and wake up from a very visually intense dream. Love the painting, it holds so much energy

Maybe non existence is our home, the „normal“ state. It was our home before being born and we all return to it after death.. seems like a welcoming place though
