This feels like a family of sorts having their beginning in an altar, but something in it feels very sad

This piece intrigues me. It's dream-like, something that every living being in the scene comprehends but that is unknown to me. The colours remind me of some naive paintings which makes it even more unreal.

In this haunting portrayal, in my opinion, the artist confronts the viewer with the profound and inevitable concept of death, personified in vivid hues of crimson. Against the backdrop of a solemn and reverential interior reminiscent of a church, the roots of mortality extend deep. Surrounding this central figure of death are various animals, hapless witnesses to the inevitable. Notably, the disintegration of death's face hints at the absurdity of existence.

die beiden kreaturen verschmelzen ineinander, die farbe rot wirkt bedrohlich, wie wenn es etwas schlechtes ist, sich seinem gegenüber zu offenbaren, sich verletzlich zu machen.

Touching the lips of my lover makes me feel RED of anger and energy, just like in the artwork. I’m so curious to find out what life has in store for me but just as frightened by the heat of my own emotions that have often the upper hand. If only I could find a lover whose roots start from my own ground.. if I were more skilled in research..I would feel green..

Love the colors! The embracing figures in red remind me a bit of Chagall’s Song of Songs series.

Why are you so red? Your friends are there to take away your pain. Go on and shine and see again that what you feel is another side of love.

When you’re so at peace with someone you close your eyes embracing them and at the same time when you’re so in awe of them you look onto them just so you won’t miss the moment. This is so sweet!
