Painting - Acrylic, ink, pastel on canvas
40 x 40 cm
Inspired by the same-titled music piece ''Moment's Notice'' from the famous hard-bop album ''Blue Train'' by John Coltrane. The quick-temple, harmonic twists music piece was projected onto the canvas, with a twist of central figure of daring strokes inspired by the Chinese Calligraphy, with rough yet colourful strokes overlapping each other, creating a harmonious piece of the moment.

It’s a fire or a source from which all kinds of inspiration elements jump out, dancing their way upwards. Some make in further, some are destined to just spark for a second and go back to the resting infinity.

This feels like the inside of my head whenever I try to meditate. There is a sense of calm on the surface concealing a deeper chaotic tangle of emotions.
