Can art be social? Can the value of a painting be separated from its price? 6 paintings, 6 prices, 1 attempt and 1 goal. Community. The idea of this series is to jointly create a value that is much higher than the individual value of a painting. An attempt that invites discussion as to whether philanthropic approaches are not necessarily at odds with regulations and whether they are perhaps more necessary in today's world? The material used in the works is an allegory for our living space. Art as a testing ground and as a tool for communicating it. Value can be relative, which is why the paintings are sold at freely selectable prices. Each price category may be chosen once and a maximum of 2 works may be purchased per person. The prices can be chosen buy the buyer. 1€/10€/50€/100€/500€/1000€. Each price can be used once.

The distance that we maintain. To maintain who we are? If who you are is so vulnerable, bring it and let it merge and explore and that might be your greatest strength.
I am an Artist and a co-founder of Mae, I would like to inspire and be inspired by you. Let’s build a constructive dialogue, making Sympoietic connections and share our visions together.

Two colours, two strokes , two figures. An experiment in which art can be accessible to everyone and also questions what is value. Why do we do art? What kind of message do we want to give? Which role does our art play in a polarised society? How differently can it be perceived? And can art be social? Thank you Thomas for showing your work at Kunst Studio 16 and making this experiment possible!
