The Vital Nerves is a comprehensive roadmap to the functional anatomy of the nervous system. For me I view this artwork as a reference to the vital nerves that run through urban lifestyles and settings. For many this could be references for artistic elements such as fashion, music, nightlife that act as roadmaps for a diverse set of subcultures cohabitating in a given city at any point in time. When I look at the painting I think of this super creative, positive, vibrant Vital Nerve that we doen’t get to see because it lies deep within each of us jumping out of the inner tunnel it resides in.
