Seeing routine life through a cliff of sadness

This strangely reminds me a lot of Otis Jones‘ work. I‘m thinking about one of the underlying layers where the birds had a clear sky to look at. There’s a suddenness in the pink, as a color that appeared out of nowhere and covered the entire landscape. A sense of fragility arises from the house - its lonely inhabitant unaware of the full structure itself. The shape of the egg, and its position, feels like a sarcastic take on the forces of nature - a prominent „fuck you Sun for bringing down this gloom.“
