It feels like the storm before the calm

I see a sense of autobiographical vulnerability in Yasmine Amal‘s work. But here, we’re talking about the autobiography of a generation, and that of a society. The softness of colours hints at the resilience of a younger generation in the face of monumental legacy. The pink is an afterthought, a glimmer of hope. Reminds me of Mohsin Hamid‘s „The Reluctant Fundamentalist.“
