The installation contains an ant hill base artificially created in a plexi-glass tank. the top of the tank hosts a x-y gantry system holding a camera that feed to the algorithm. The steering of the camera is assisted by a software using "deep-mind" to track behaviors in ants and follow a right candidate. The main point of this project was to algorithmically pilot a camera according to ant's behavior underneath. Eventually the camera acquires a predator agent as it is continuously trying to decipher different relationships between the ants below and who to follow. Unpredictable as it is, the surveiller attains a similar animal behavior similar to it's hosts.
