i’m very drawn to the artist’s representation of bodies. The choice of colour is super interesting especially the contrast between the blue and rose/purple. It introduced the concept of gender as something unrelated to the body but just a contrast between two things which can be seen as different depending on people.

The woman’s grip on the blue lemon is striking. I first interpreted this painting as the idea of owning your femininity. I also liked how the lemon’s end sorta mimics the nipples in where its placement is
