The scenery makes me feel both numb and anxious considering that the line of people approaching the women in front makes the impression to be motivated bz purely physical attraction. No eye contact is made and the women look rather used then pleasured. At the same time it makes me feel excited and interested in letting go regardless of the emotional consequences and receiving a very untypical kind of attention. The painting is very powerful in bringing together contrary emotions.
