Markus Huemer, born in 1968 in Linz, Austria, is a prominent artist known for his installations and paintings. He studied at the High School of Artistic and Industrial Design in Linz and the Academy of Arts in Düsseldorf. Huemer currently lives and works in Berlin, Germany. He has held a professorship at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague since 2007, specializing in New Media. His work is recognized for its integration of art and media studies, with his pieces featured in several prestigious public collections across Germany and Austria.
