I saw this Alexander McQueen dress in a magazine and I somehow related to the mannequin. Empty inside but with this eerie elegance coming from the gown. I used the feathers that I found on my walks at a time when I was depressed..and old artifacts of my youth, like the innards of a floppy disk or an old necklace. I tried to visualize a continuum out of that period, despite my struggles and my intrusive thoughts.
