The snake, the cage, the sun, the cold body and the coffin. So many elements and symbols in this piece! What strikes me the most is the plain background. It really captures how anxiety is within the mind and it erases everything that is alive. But also, Anxiety can be a death sentence and not everyone can understand that, so there is no one to witness it.
