A very beautiful piece, in which the figure becomes a landscape. I remember when I saw this painting for the first time at Max Planck institut… I was very touched by the semplicity and yet complexity of the body, surrounded by chaos and still expressing harmony. The colours are very natural and powerful. I love how the blue/green/turchese comes out of the painting in contrast with the red/brown of the rust, like water and earth, merging in a dream.
