I started doing ceramics when I was in Ukraine during the winter, with 8+ hours a day electricity cut-offs. Performing your regular « computer job » was almost impossible, I didn’t even like it that much. So I moved on the outskirts bought some clay, tried to make some cups and almost didn’t talk with people for a few months) Still don’t know why I choose ceramics at this point. Yet, it’s still with me. I’m not in Ukraine any more, I have constant access to light at least and can perform all the « normal people tasks » with the regular miracles of civilisation. Which is again not the case for people, who are still in Ukraine. Not everyone can hang out with clay for several months, it's may be easier for some, and harder for others. I don't want to say « appreciate the simple things that you have, because this is a completely different dimension of things ». However, if you can sometimes inform yourself about what is happening in the world, that would be great, thank you.
