Half of this comes from deep within me, but where does the other half come from? I faced and worked with an unknown, powerful energy, feeling that if I stepped back, I might be swallowed up. It was as if we were resonating with each other.To create this work, I didn’t simply apply or layer colors. Instead, I continuously struck dots using various thin sticks, forming the colors, textures, and shapes. These repeated dots call for a resonance with both the inner world and the beyond, serving as a form of release. Created in 2024, this painting embodies the energy of our distorted world, the inner spiritual realm, and the other side, reflecting various dualities. It’s a work where inward attraction and outward liberating energy coexist simultaneously.
