Pacific draws inspiration from waves in the ocean to create a center that is characterized by chaos. Loose, translucent strokes of blue imitate the turbulence that exists in our world and minds. These strokes are ultimately bounded by the structure of the Mandala, reflecting upon the duality between order and chaos that exists in the universe. As one of the paintings in the Now-Mandala series, this painting represents energy as the binding force between all matter.
