Scripts XI is a visualisation of energy; the Scripts aesthetic has been painted onto dyed cloth, which has then been stretched over a wooden frame. Strokes of fluorescent green paint shuttle across the canvas, creating the added effect of a painting that transforms under UV light. The series is a synthesis of several textile traditions from around the world, including Javanese Batik, Peruvian Shipibo, and Tibetan Sand Mandalas.
