Flashes of orange and blue harmoniously combine in Scripts IX; it is the ninth in a series of 15 paintings that seek to visualize energy, or prana, by finding inspiration in the quantum explanation of the universe known as string theory. The painting is paradoxically peaceful and vibrant at the same time, mirroring the apparent duality of everything in the human experience. The painting emanates a yellow/orange glow when viewed under UV light, changing its appearance as the light conditions change. In that sense, it is truly ephemeral in nature.
