The creative process of this series involves immersing myself in the world of Frédéric Chopin's music, translating its melodies into deeply personal visual expressions. I allow myself to be fully enveloped by the profound sensations the music stirs within me. Using acrylic ink on wet paper, I strive to maximize the spontaneity of movement, letting the brush draw freely without deliberate guidance from what I see. By keeping my eyes closed, I ensure that my movements are guided solely by what I hear, allowing the music to flow through me and direct my brushwork. Often, I concentrate on specific passages rather than the entire piece, aiming to distill the essence of those moments into clear and resonant visuals. Additionally, I play the same opera repeatedly while painting, layering my expressions over previous touches.
