All of the figures in this painting look to their left, none of them at each other, but at something or someone out of frame. Though all in profile, each of their expressions is austere and somewhat disgusted. Something seems to bother them, but at least they all seem to be in company. Seems to be bout social isolation, even while together. Stylistically nods to early 20th century works.
