i find this painting fascinating because of the mysterious aura of the subject, who although doesn’t have a face or a name, gives me a sense of relation. I feel similar to them as I feel like everything going on in the inner me (emotions, thoughts, ideas, etc) could also be embodied in a pattern and a color. The scene and the background seem lonely although I feel calm by thinking the character chooses to be in such place, because it could be where the character still finds comfort.
